Hi I initially booked for 8-1-25 to 8-3-25 I will check in on 8-3-2025 to 8-6-2025. I paided in person already on 8-1-2025. We're moving and some issue with house were i currently live. Mr. Etee the Check in clerk is very pleasant & Excellent Customer Service. He changed everything until check in on 8-3-2025, with no problems. I enjoy staying here. It's very clean, quiet, and the staff is Very friendly. STAY HERE! YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT.
When I arrived at Ivy City Hotel, I was a little surprised by the reviews. I was expecting it to be really run down, but it wasn't. The front desk clerk was really nice and helpful. They also had security patrolling the parking lot, which made me feel a lot safer. The room was clean and sanitized. The toilet was backed up, but maintenance came right away and fixed the problem. It was DEFINITELY worth the price...
This is an older motel that you can tell they are trying to fix up. Staff was amazing and friendly. Issues or request were handled promptly. Security guard at the parking lot entrance at night added a little extra sense of security.
My stay wasn’t bad but when I asked for extra towels the front desk refused, saying that I had enough towels for one night
I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but my experience at Ivy City Hotel was actually really good. My room was clean, the staff was polite, and I didn’t feel unsafe at all during my stay. It’s not a luxury hotel, of course, but for the price—especially in DC—it’s a solid option. If you’re just looking for a basic, affordable place to sleep while exploring the city, this does the job. I’d stay here again without a problem.
Despite all the negative reviews of this place it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be, Staff members were very helpful both security in evening and receptionist. Room were great showers was clean We had no issues whatsoever.
Every Uber driver that picked me up from the motel was impressed with the remodeling and new look, compared to the old reputation. I enjoyed my stay. Bathroom was large. Toiletries were nice. The iron and board were of a good quality. Relatively quiet. Street was busy, you can only turn right during rush hour. Price was decent. Everything worked. Staff was nice and accommodating. It was clean and I actually prefer hardwood floors. Small breakfast would be nice.
This Hotel is the Best Deal in Town. Location was perfect. Bus Stop next to Hotel gets you to The Metro. RAJ, the Front Desk Clerk, was very friendly and nice. He was great to us as well as ADU. Rooms were clean with Modern Amenities. Simple but Nice. Thank you Ivy City Hotel for a Very Nice Stay.
